Delete your account in the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from the Profile tab in the Mind the Maze app (available on iOS and Android):

1. Open Mind the Maze and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Profile.
4. Enter your current password, type DELETE in capital letters to confirm, then tap Delete.

Request deletion by email

If you have uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or are unable to use the in-app option, you can request account deletion by email:

1. Send an email to admin@mindthemaze.co.uk from the email address associated with your Mind the Maze account.
2. Use the subject line "Mind the Maze account deletion request" and confirm that you want your account and associated data permanently deleted.
3. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your Firebase Authentication login
• Your profile (username, email, and profile photo)
• All labyrinth captures, photos, and capture metadata
• Your achievement unlock records
• Error logs tied to your user ID

What we keep

We do not retain personal data linked to your account after deletion is complete. Aggregated, non-identifying app statistics (for example, total captures per station) are not tied to your account and are not affected by account deletion.
